Uplift Others With The Power Of Thank You Cards

Uplift others with the power of thank you cards. It is so nice at this time of year to receive Christmas cards but what about the other times of the year? There are so many opportunities to send out thank you cards to people. It is never too late to send out a thank you card or a note of appreciation in the mail, because it puts out a wonderful vibration of good will.

The idea of sending out cards of gratitude is to express your feelings so that the other person then feels good too. Passing along gratitude is a benefit to the whole society. Don't expect anything in return, remember you are passing along good feeling intentions.

Mail them out as often as you can and remember that to send it in the mail is the best way. Emails and phone messages are not nearly as powerful as a card sent by post. It takes more effort to write out a card and mail it but what may only take a few minutes of your time once a week goes along way to make someone else feel the vibration of gratitude. Just keep it in mind during the week and once a week make it a habit to send out a card or two.

So pass along good feelings whenever you can. Mail out cards to thank those who perform service for you or have had you over for drinks! It is the thought that counts. Choose to do thoughts with gratitude regularly and see for yourself the power of gratitude.

Are You Listening To Your Intuition?

Are you listening to your intuition?

What does that mean you might ask? Well, we all have an inner dialogue from time to time about certain things in our lives. Often we feel a strong desire to do something and the thought keeps haunting us until either the moment expires and you do not do anything about it or you do take action as a result.

The intuition may only be a feeling of something nagging you or a vivid image of something you desire. As everything in life, we have choices about responding and acting or just choosing to do things without thinking (habits). The intuition I am referring to is very helpful if you choose to listen. I will give an example of a true story.

I know of a guy who has behind his backfence a ditch which he planted some small trees. This past summer he had a duck nest behind his fence. He avoided mowing the grass around these little trees beside the ditch so he would not disturb the duck on her nest! Finally, the ducklings hatched and left the area. The grass needed cutting badly as it hid the trees. This gentleman had "a nagging desire" to trim the grass around the trees but put it off a few days. It was a constant thought for him as he retold me the story of how he chose not to act due to the weather conditions and his work schedule. By the time he got around to cutting the grass, the grass was cut down along with his little trees by the community workers. He was aghast and shocked however if he had responded to his intuition earlier in the week, he would have saved those little trees and cut the grass in his area so that the trees would not have been mowed down.

Listen to your intuition and ACT on it. It feels like your are being nagged. You may even think about it for days sometimes. There is a very strong pull towards acting, so listen to your intuition and follow it. You will then have much happier outcomes in life!

Is Happiness A Choice?

Is happiness a choice? Can you choose happiness?

You can be in control once you realize that your thoughts and only your thoughts is the only thing on earth you have complete control over. It is impossible to control the thoughts of anyone else. If you asked 50 people who know you what there thoughts were of you as an example, you would get 50 different responses to that question. Everyone's own thoughts are their own.

So now you are aware that thoughts are your own and you can control what you are thinking. By thinking positively in stressful moments, leaders are born. You feel victory after the moment because you stayed positive.

When you think a thought in direct result of present circumstances you are only reacting and not in control. But regardless of the circumstance you are in, if you find a positive thought you are no longer reacting, you are creating a new opportunity for the future. Positive thoughts to the current situation is prepaving for the future.

So by thinking thoughts for future moments you are believing in yourself. From this vantage point, your positive thoughts will reflect forward into your future and when the future becomes the present moment, it is much easier to be happy because the future is one of positive choices.

However, it should be taught to everyone that by reacting negatively only to the present moment you are not creating positive results for future moments. A negative feeling involkes more negative results. STOP the cycle. Realize that at every moment of your day you can choose how you REACT to your present circumstances.

I agree it is impossible to go from depression to JOY in one fell swoop, but you can choose a better feeling emotion once you realize you are in control. You can go from depression to anger and actually start to feel better. But don't linger there too long. Once you feel a little better, think of a solution, and don't beat yourself up. There have been so many other people who have gone through the same situations you have and have made it. You can too.

Recognize when you feel angry to find a better feeling thought. Perhaps it may be revenge, which may help you feel a little bit better. Then from that state, move to a better feeling emotion. After revenge, you may feel hopeful. After feeling hopeful for awhile you may feel belief and by focusing on what you are thinking you can find a solution because now you have belief.

AWARENESS: Just being aware of how thoughts you think right now will bring into your future moments the results you are currently processing. So be careful or mindful of what your present state of thinking is as those negative thoughts prepave your future.

Don't judge yourself too harshly. In fact, from this point on erase your mistakes by pressing the RESET button and say from now on you will think only better feeling thoughts.

Some helpful hints of feeling better is if you can get outside and spend at least 5 minutes and feel the wind, the sun or smell the freshness of outdoors just to help you feel better and relax. Music can be uplifting as well as reading or doing an activity which pleases you. The distraction takes the drama out of life and allows you to focus once again on feeling good.
