So is fear holding you back from your peak potential?

Do you suppose people are afraid to put money into a business because they think they will lose it? Have I got it correct? People will research on the web, ask their friends, and will use these excuses why not to get started. They are focused on fear, not success. Fear attracts more fear. Focus on success and you will attract success. You get what you focus on.

Perhaps some people are "tire kickers" anyway but if you are focused on the money, not the potential, you should be changing the way you look at it. Perhaps if you ask yourself what if this will work for you? Do you see yourself in that role? Be truthful to yourself.

The way you view yourself changes everything about your potential!

Also, are you looking for a reason to get started or a reason NOT to get started. Basically, if you are approaching any business looking for a reason not to get started then you will find your answer. You can find something negative in everything. So don't let the excuse of being afraid hold you back. Decide to find a business that works for you, and you will have success in life because you are moving forward toward your goal and not holding yourself back.

Feel confident in your decision in becoming an entrepreneur! Being an entrepreneur is really just a series of making decisions! Think about it. Every day you are making decisions towards your goals or away from them. It is pretty simple. So ask yourself when making decisions, "Is this taking me towards my goal or away from my goal." How does your answer feel to you. Does it feel right? Don't live your life with fear. Life your life getting what you came here for!

Success Does Not Depend On Your Marital Status

Do successful women need to be married? Is it a man's world out there and women can't succeed in business and even worse, an unmarried one at that?

I probably would have believed other women at one time if they told me that they are having difficulty in the business world because they are single. That people can't understand why a women is single and not married, what is wrong with her. I would believe like so many others that you are right, society is to blame.

So what was it that really helped me realize that women hold themselves back from success. I read a book by author Lisa Jimenez called "Don't Mess With a Princess" which gave me much insight into what labels we place on ourselves as women. For me, being a mother at one time made me feel that to be successful I would be compromising my ability to raise children.

Ladies, if you at any point don't consider yourself first a woman who can be whoever you want to be then it will be difficult for you to convince anyone else! If you are blaming society then you are focused on the belief that society's opinion of yourself counts higher than your own. The truth is that your own opinion of yourself is what counts. You get what you focus on.

Labels we place upon ourselves are only labels that hold you back. Let go of your belief to fight, to struggle, to be right. Forgive yourself about their opinions and don't focus on it. You get what you focus on. You may say, but Michelle, "I am focused but society won't let me be who I want to be". I say that by focusing on why society is not happy with your marital status is just going to get you more of what you are thinking about. Always focus on what it is you want. Don't focus on your present situation but focus on what the solution or what it is you desire to be. By releasing yourself from the present situation you now are moving forward towards your goals, regardless of your marital status.

Now the part about women and men working alongside together I truly believe is possible. This topic is covered wonderfully in the book, "Don't Mess With A Princess" by Lisa Jimenez. It is a must read if you are climbing the corporate ladder!

Remember that whatever you choose in life to do, life is supposed to be fun. So go ahead and be everything you desire. Don't hold yourself back from success because you are single.

Is The Learning In The Doing?

Is the learning in the doing? So what does that actually mean? How can you do something if you don't know how or even worse afraid of what someone will think?

Let me show you an example of what it is I mean. If you have never tasted chocolate before it would be very difficult for me to explain it to you without your tasting it. The process of doing is how we learn, grow, and achieve results. You may not have to do a whole lot to get the process started but you do have to take that first step.

On the weekend I attended a conference which had the International Best Seller "Bob Proctor" on stage. This is my second sitting of his remarkable teachings. The second time was very valuable to me as I once again took notes and viewed the screen. He flowed for 2 hours a very realistic and powerful set of principles for achieving success. Repetition is very essential in the learning. I needed to hear him speak and soak his words in once again. The doing for me is to write down his words, it helps one get gold nuggets out of his session. So if you get the chance to see Bob Proctor, enjoy the opportunity!

Another thing, in Bob Proctor's book, "You Were Born Rich" something he mentioned struck me very strongly. He said "So, regardless of what I, or anyone else, might say, you are going to have to prove these ideas for yourself."

Pretty powerful words. Read it again and come to the understanding that you are going to have to prove to yourself that you are a success! You are going to have to show to the world who you really are, reveal yourself without worry of what anyone else thinks. Just imagine if you really let go and did what you needed to do to get the job done --you would not fail. It is only you who holds yourself back because of worry of what others will think.

Let me point something out to you that was explained to me by my husband, Warren. If I were in a room full of 100 people and I had the chance to meet them all for the first time, all 100 people would have a different opinion of who I am. So it would not matter what I said or did, I cannot control the thinking of 100 people! The only opinion of yourself that counts is your own! It does not matter what others are thinking about because you cannot control their thoughts! Cannot be done. Rulers have tried it and failed. You are the master of your own thoughts.

This is your life, not theirs! So go ahead and do whatever it is you want to do and you will learn from it. You will truly expand your potential, your confidence, your belief, as learning by doing is how we all should go about it. By going for it you feel great. You now know what it feels like to do it! By doing we are growing, learning, that is the only way. Words alone do not teach.
